Bill Morris and the Barflies first gig a raging success.
Yes my fwieends.. after much nervousness the Barflies' first ever gig was a roaring success. We got a crowd of about 70 people. John Egenes performed a typically stunning set of virtuoso music before Skybus got up and amazed everyone. I've been playing gigs with the Skybus for a couple of years now and I am seriously amazed at how good they are have become. We are talking of touring together very soon so watch out for a re-run.For me, the night was a dream come true - with this great band I am finally able to bring my songs up to full spec and power. I am bloody lucky to have a band of such talented musicians, all of whom are good friends. Also was great to catch up with a lot of other old friends on the night. The Barflies are underway - watch this space because we're going to be making some more noise around town and around the country pretty soon!
